One Job — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

One Job is a local-first app. The short version: your tasks never leave your device, and we don't collect anything.

What we collect

Nothing. One Job has no accounts, no analytics, no trackers, and no server-side storage. Tasks you create are stored only on your own device (in your browser's local storage, or the app's private storage in the mobile apps).

What leaves your device

Nothing, unless you explicitly set it up. If you connect an optional third-party task service (such as a task-manager integration) or a self-hosted One Job backend, your tasks are sent to that service at your direction, under that service's privacy policy. Backups you export are files you control.

The demo

The interactive demo at onejob.co runs entirely in your browser with sample data stored locally. It is not sent anywhere.

Website

onejob.co is hosted as static files on GitHub Pages, which may log standard web-server request data (such as IP addresses) as described in GitHub's privacy statement. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. The apps themselves make no such requests.

Children

One Job does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes (for example, when optional sync launches), the update will be posted here with a new date, and the apps will not send data anywhere without your explicit opt-in.
